Where It All Started



He can be the counselor, avenger, savior, patriarch, oracle, and role model. This Bronx native with 12+ years in the business, has trained at HB Studios, Tracey Moore-Marable, Black Nexxus with Roberta Wallach, daughter of actor Eli Wallach, actor/director Bill Duke, and Roz Coleman of RedWall Productions.

His talents started blooming during his early childhood with painting using oil paints and drawing with charcoal pencils, which was his mothers passion that he followed. During the teenage years, Erik played football in the Pop Warner moving to Semi-Pro Leagues as a wide-receiver. He played with three teams that were always undefeated. Erik's mission is to always be undefeated, never giving up, have drive and hunger, and to follow his passion, is what he puts into his acting.

Erik became a model for the Apollo Theatre during their amateur night show, where he model for known and unknown fashion designers. He decided he wanted to be more creative and use the talents that show his diversity. He was ask to be in a scene with a upcoming student director, this is when he caught the acting bug. Erik attended New York City Herbert Berghof Studios (HB Studios), at the same time continuing to pursue his degree in information technology at New York Tech. But his love and passion for acting reign through as his career.  

He continues to perform in lead and supporting roles in several independent projects. In 2006, he starred in "The Situation" which won the HBO Award for Best Feature Film and Audience Choice Award at the Martha’s Vineyard African-American Film Festival. In addition, he has a prinicpal performance in the feature film "44 st", which won best narrative feature film at the 2007 Long Island Latino International Film Festival, which is available on DVD.  Erik Appeared in regional and national commercials. Erik work is not limited to television and film, he performed on stage in  “A Soldiers' Play” as Sgt. Vernon C. Waters
and “Exonerated” portraying  David Keaton.  The name Erik means king and he continues to be just that, "The King of Acting". Erik has a commanding and extraordinary presence with a talent that excels.

Presently, Erik is writing his own works for publishing and projects for film and television. Storytelling is part of his journey and also directing. He is not blind to the unlimited amounts of ambition that he has.
